Mark Durand Karen Bresolin Dom Torres

Mark Durand - Director, Writer
Mark is veteran writer, producer, director and program developer of documentary film and TV productions. He has over 15 Emmy Awards nominations, 3 of which have won Peabody Awards. This is his second documentary film about serious mental illness. He is grateful to Dr. Rob and Ann Laitman’s efforts and protocol in the helping his loved one progress towards full meaningful recovery from bipolar and schizoaffective disorders.

Dominick Torres - Co-Director, Editor, Cinematographer
Dominick is an award-winning Nuyorican filmmaker and educator living in NY. His work focuses on uplifting the voices of vulnerable communities and fostering generational healing. Through storytelling, he builds community and challenges traditional notions about race, class, and gender.



Karen Bresolin - Producer, Graphics
Karen has a background in graphic design and as a creative director. After years of struggle, in 2016, Dr Laitman began helping Jasper realize a Meaningful Recovery from SMI. Since then, Karen produced their book, Meaningful Recovery and has been helping Team Daniel with communications. The Bresolins are $%#&#? grateful to the Laitmans and are determined to help families lost in the overwhelming world of psychosis, to find hope & help.
Angela Brisbin, Associate Producer
Angela is the Lead Administrator for Team Daniel and the Clozapine Community Facebook group. She is in her final year of pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with aspirations to become a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Her mental health advocacy includes serving as a board member for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Greater Kansas City, as well as being a NAMI-certified family support group facilitator and "Ending the Silence" presenter. Angela also serves as a caregiver mentor for the CURESZ Foundation.
Miriam Feldman, Associate Producer
Miriam is an artist, writer, and mental health activist. Her adult son, Nick, was diagnosed with schizophrenia in 2004. She published her memoir, He Came in with It, in 2019 and is on the advisory board and writes a monthly blog for Bring Change 2 Mind, Glenn Close’s organization. Miriam is active at NAMI Washington and co-founded the podcast Schizophrenia,3 Moms in the Trenches.
